Screencasts that Pop

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

This session delves deeper into the creation and sharing of screencast tutorials. Whether it is you or your students creating the tutorials, we will examine topics such as:

-Planning (script or no script- we’re fans of no script),
-Recording (video aspect ratio, audio, mics),
-Editing (adding intro/outro music, bumpers, captioning, fixing errors),
-Exporting/Sharing (file types, where to upload tutorials, YouTube, iTunes, own site)

We have been producing screencasts for over 7 years and continue to enjoy learning and sharing screencasting tips. Therefore, part of this session is devoted to inviting you to share any of your own tricks or tips as well as questions. Familiarity with either Camtasia Studio, Camtasia for Mac or iPad screencasting apps is helpful.
