Kimberly is passionate about motivating students to become more engaged in reading. She also enjoys finding ways to help students understand reading concepts through simple strategies and techniques. Kimberly is Chairman of the Literacy Committee at her campus and works closely with colleagues and administration to ensure that students are engaged at a high rigor of learning. She has been selected "Teacher of the Year" by students and parents for several consecutive years. She feels that it is important to create a spark in students the moment they walk into her classroom. She loves to find ways to keep them engaged and enjoys sharing strategies with other professionals that share the same desire.
