I feel very honored to be back at BLC for the 4th year in a row and contribute to this growing global learning community!

With 28 years of experience in public education -13 of which in an administrative position- plus 3 years of professional coaching and Energy Leadership, I have found my niche in leadership and wellness coaching.

Passionate about innovation in education and the power of positive thinking, and the belief that we are all leaders by choice or by chance, I support schools in fulfilling their vision of transforming traditional classrooms into modern learning environments. This change is a complex process that requires building healthy relationships, letting go of what does not work anymore, embracing new beliefs, and learning from failure.

I am a former general physician who became an educator and a life coach. I currently lead the Digital Age Learning department at a service center agency while working on a specialization in Inspiring Leadership. I am also a member of the International Coaching Federation San Antonio Chapter as well as several professional educational organizations.

During my spare time I enjoy cooking, exercising, reading, writing, learning, traveling, music, and spending time with my three daughters as well as like-minded people. I speak, write, and read four languages.
